Promotion Rules (“Rules”) 

  1. Introduction 
  1. This Promotion (“Promotion”) is being run by Herotel Proprietary Limited with registration number 2015/122781/07 (“Herotel”). 
  1. This offer may not be used with any other Herotel promotional offer. 
  1. The Promotion begins on 14 December 2023 and ends on 28 December 2023 (“Promotion Period”). 
  1. This Promotion is available to all existing Customers buying pre-paid vouchers (“Customers”)  
  1. The Promotion  
  1. All existing Pre–Paid Customers will, when purchasing a Pre-Paid Voucher during the promotion period, receive double the value of the voucher that was bought, free of charge. For example, should you buy a 7-day voucher you will receive an additional 7-day voucher free charge.  
  1. Existing Pre -paid customers will qualify for this Promotion provided they comply with the eligibility and other requirements in these Rules. 
  1. Promotion Period and Payment Terms  
  1. The Promotion will commence on 14 December 2023 at 22:00 and conclude on 28 December 2023 at 22:00.  
  1. Herotel, reserves the right to extend the special if additional availability and capacity arise, and the availability will be at Herotel’s sole discretion. 
  1. Customer Eligibility  
  1. This Promotion is open to all existing Pre-Paid Customers who has a valid EasyPay reference, who received his/hers Service Equipment as defined the Master Service Terms and has an active account.   
  1. As Customer you confirm that you accept the provisions detailed in these Rules which pertains to this Promotion by purchasing a valid pre-paid voucher online, through EasyPay or at participating Retail stores with a Kazang device.  
  1. How to Participate 
  1. Existing pre-paid customers can participate in this Promotion by:  
  1.  purchasing pre-paid vouchers online via our website located at  http://www.herotel.com/bpf,  
  1. by visiting your local Herotel Offices, which address can be found on our website;  
  1. through EasyPay or  
  1. at participating Retail stores with a Kazang device.  
  1. Kindly note that the promotional top-up as described herein will only be applied to a customer’s service when a Customer buys a pre-paid voucher with a valid EasyPay reference that is linked to his/hers Herotel profile.  
  1. Termination of Promotion  

Herotel reserves the right and in its sole discretion to terminate this Promotion for whatever reason at any time with as much notice as reasonably possible. 

  1. Privacy Policy  

By entering this Promotion, Customers consent to the collection, use, and sharing of their personal information for the purpose of administering this promotion, in accordance with Herotel’s Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.herotel.com/privacy-policy/  

  1. Master Service Terms  
  1. The provision of any Herotel services is subject to Herotel’s Master Service Terms which can be found at: https://www.herotel.com/master_service_terms/  
  1. These conditions apply to this Promotion, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in or incorporated into any document, form or oral statement. 
  1. General 
  1. These Rules will be available on Herotel’s website, and on its social media platforms. 
  1.  Governing law: This Agreement shall be governed, construed, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.  
  1. Consumer Protection: To the extent that the Terms and Conditions or any goods or services provided under the Terms and Conditions are governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (the “Consumer Protection Act”), no provision of the Terms are intended to contravene the applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, and therefore all provisions of the Terms and Conditions must be treated as being qualified, to the extent necessary, to ensure that the applicable provisions of the Consumer Protection Act are complied with. 
  1. RICA:  As a prospective customer you will be obliged to provide proof of your full names, surname, Identity Document number and residential address when applying for accepting this promotion.  
  1.  VAT: All prices advertised in this Promotion are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated 
  1. Non-variation: No addition to or variation of these Rules shall be of any force or effect unless recorded in a written document and signed by a duly authorised representative of Herotel. 
  1. Exclusivity of offer: The Promotion is exclusively for eligible customers and is not transferable, not exchange able and cannot be exchanged for its cash value. 
  1. Limitation of Liability: Participants hereby indemnify Herotel and its agents, employees, or contractors against any / all claims for any injury, loss, or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way, howsoever in this Promotion. 
  1. Clarification of terms: In the event that you do not understand any of the terms and conditions, please contact your local Herotel Office and a sales agent will explain them to you. If you do not understand or agree to these terms and conditions, please do not continue participating in this promotion. Your continued participation in the promotion will constitute your agreement to be bound by and comply with these and applicable terms and conditions.  
  1. Acceptance: By applying for and accepting this Promotion, you confirm that you have read and accepted Herotel’s Master Service Terms and are authorised to enter into an Agreement with Herotel.
