Herotel’s DO MORE 2026
Promotion Rules (“Rules”)
1. Introduction
1.1. The DO MORE 2026 Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by Herotel Proprietary Limited (Registration No. 2015/122781/07) (“Herotel”).
1.2. This Promotion may not be used in conjunction with any other Herotel promotional offer, unless expressly confirmed by Herotel in writing.
1.3. The Promotion commences on 11 February 2026 and ends on 28 February 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
1.4. The Promotion is available to new and existing residential Herotel Fibre customers who:
- 1.4.1. enter into a new fibre service agreement for a minimum term of 12 months, or
- 1.4.2. upgrade an existing fibre service,
subject to these Rules and service availability (“Customers”).
2. Definitions for the purposes of this Promotion:
2.1. “Upgrade” means a change by an existing Customer from a Herotel Fibre package to another Herotel Fibre package with a higher standard monthly subscription fee (excluding discounts or promotions) than the Customer’s current package, resulting in an increase in Herotel’s monthly recurring revenue from that Customer.
2.2. “Downgrade” means a change by an existing Customer from a Herotel Fibre package to another Herotel Fibre package with a lower standard monthly subscription fee (excluding discounts or promotions) than the Customer’s current package, resulting in a decrease in Herotel’s monthly recurring revenue from that Customer.
2.3. For the avoidance of doubt:
- 2.3.1. the determination of an Upgrade or Downgrade is based solely on standard monthly pricing, and
- 2.3.2. promotional, discounted, or time-limited pricing shall not be used to classify a change as an Upgrade or Downgrade.
2.4. These definitions are applied uniformly across customers and are intended to promote pricing transparency and fairness.
3. The Promotion
3.1. New Herotel Fibre Customers may qualify for discounted monthly pricing on the fibre packages listed in Table A, subject to a 12-month minimum contract term.

3.2. Existing Customers
- 3.2.1. are subscribed to a Herotel Fibre Package listed in Table B, and
- 3.2.2. pay via monthly debit order,
may upgrade under this Promotion, subject to availability and these Rules.

3.3. Forfeiture of Benefits
3.3. Customers shall forfeit accrued benefits under this Promotion due to circumstances beyond the Customer’s reasonable control. Where installation cannot proceed due to service unavailability, no charges shall be levied, and the Customer shall not be penalised or deemed in breach.
3.4. For the avoidance of doubt, “service unavailability” includes, without limitation:
- 3.4.1. the absence of Herotel network coverage in the requested area;
- 3.4.2. a determination, following a feasibility assessment, that the service is not technically or commercially feasible at the requested address. Feasibility assessments are conducted in accordance with Herotel’s standard technical and operational criteria applied uniformly across customers.; or
- 3.4.3. any other operational, technical, or commercial reason, reasonably determined by Herotel acting in good faith.
4. Promotion Period and Payment Terms
4.1. The Promotion is valid from 05:00 on 11 February 2026 until 22:00 on 28 February 2026.
4.2. Herotel may extend the Promotion period on reasonable notice, should additional capacity or availability arise.
4.3. New Customers qualifying under this Promotion will not be charged standard activation or installation fees for eligible fibre products.
4.4. Installation dates are subject to operational capacity and availability of installation teams and may vary by area.
4.5. This Promotion excludes all business and commercial fibre packages.
5. Customer Eligibility
5.1. The Promotion is open to individuals who:
- 5.1.1. reside within a Herotel coverage area;
- 5.1.2. are 18 years or older as at 1 February 2026; and
- 5.1.3. provide the following documents (“Compliance Documents”):
- 5.1.3.1.1. a valid South African Identity Document or Passport;
- 5.1.3.1.2. a completed Service Order Form; and
- 5.1.3.1.3. an accepted written quotation.
5.2. Existing Customers participating in this Promotion may not downgrade their fibre package, as defined in clause 2.2, during the Promotion Period or for the duration of the applicable promotional contract term.
5.3. Each Customer may claim:
- 5.3.1. one Promotion per eligible fibre package; and
- 5.3.2. one Promotion per residential dwelling.
5.4. Submission of a service request or acceptance of a quotation constitutes an expression of interest only and does not create a binding agreement until:
- 5.4.1. feasibility has been confirmed;
- 5.4.2. all Compliance Documents have been approved; and
- 5.4.3. the Customer has accepted Herotel’s Master Service Terms.
5.5. Customers subject to an existing notice period with another service provider are not eligible for this Promotion.
6. How to Participate
6.1. Customers may participate by:
- 6.1.1. contacting a local Herotel office;
- 6.1.2. visiting a local Herotel office;
- 6.1.3. submitting an online service request; or
- 6.1.4. accepting a written quotation issued by an authorised Herotel sales agent.
6.2. Promotional services will only be activated once all required Compliance Documents mentioned in paragraph 4.1 have been received and approved.
6.3. Customers opting for monthly billing must maintain a valid debit order mandate.
7. Amendment or Termination of Promotion
7.1. Herotel may amend, suspend, or terminate this Promotion only where reasonably necessary due to operational, technical, regulatory, or commercial considerations.
7.2. Where such amendment or termination materially affects participating Customers, Herotel will provide reasonable notice, unless prevented by circumstances beyond its control.
7.3. Any amendment or termination shall not affect Customers who have already concluded valid service agreements under this Promotion, unless required by law.
8. Privacy

9. Master Service Terms
All services are provided subject to Herotel’s Master Service Terms, available at https://www.herotel.com/master_service_terms/
10. General
10.1. These Rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
10.2. Nothing in these Rules is limits or excludes any liability that may not lawfully be limited or excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, including liability arising from gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Herotel shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss
arising from participation in this Promotion, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
10.3. Where applicable, Customers retain any statutory cooling-off rights afforded under section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act
10.4. RICA compliance is mandatory, and Customers will be required to provide prescribed identification and address details.
10.5. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
10.6. This Promotion is not transferable, not exchangeable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
10.7. Herotel shall not be liable for loss or damage except to the extent caused by its gross negligence or wilful misconduct, and nothing herein excludes liability that may not lawfully be excluded under the CPA.
10.8. Customers are encouraged to seek clarification from a Herotel sales agent before participating. Participation confirms acceptance of these Rules and the applicable Master Service Terms.
10.9. These Rules shall be interpreted to promote fairness, transparency, and reasonableness, and any provision capable of more than one interpretation shall be construed in favour of compliance with the Consumer Protection Act.
